The wedding of Frederick Arthur Golesworthy to Ada Dearing in 1932 in Hackney, London.
From left to right: Bridesmaid (unknown), Charles Leonard Reuby, Frederick Arthur Golesworthy, Ada May Dearing, possibly the bride’s father, Lilian May Golesworthy. The child is unknown.
Fred died only ten years later, when his ship HMS Arethusa was torpedoed escorting a convoy from Alexandria to Malta.
Charles Reuby and Lilian Golesworthy married in 1935 and were my husband’s parents.
Thanks to Jane for this photo.

That must have been a lovely wedding.
It’s kind of weird receiving this link with a picture of my grandmother and grandfather’s wedding when I haven’t seen Ada since toddlerhood – far too young to recall. I would forward it on to the remaining Golesworthy’s if I had their contact details.
